A strong and self-reliant family can also give us as individuals the encouragement to realise our true selves and work towards liberation.

Inspiration for Living Jain is taken first and foremost from Mahavir Swami who immersed himself in a process of deep meditation, intense introspection and inner purification, to attain total knowledge of all things and all times (Keval Gnan), spread the message of compassion to the world at large, and eventually attained liberation (Moksha) from all karmic shackles by freeing his soul from the painful cycle of birth, death and rebirth.
